This magical and illustrious civilization has captured the imagination of people worldwide for centuries. The Nile River, which is the longest river in the world, was the lifeblood of Kemet and allowed the civilization to flourish. The pyramids, temples, and tombs that were built by the ancient Egyptians still stand today as a testament to their incredible architectural prowess and engineering skills. The ancient Egyptians were skilled in many different areas, including medicine, mathematics, astronomy, and agriculture. They were also known for their intricate hieroglyphics, which they used to record their history, mythology, and everyday life. The pharaohs, who were considered to be divine rulers, were the embodiment of Kemet’s power and wealth.

Egyptian scientists have discovered evidence of life that existed in Egypt two million years ago.

A recent Egyptian scientific discovery unveils the oldest human activity on Egyptian soil, dating back over 2 million years. Published in the African Archeology magazine, the research titled “The Oldowan in the Egyptian Nile Valley” was conducted by a team including Professor Ahmed Saeed from Kuwait University, Professor Abul-Hassan Bakry from Cairo University, and researcher Doa Sayed Ibrahim from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. The team traced primitive stone tools and archaeological evidence in four locations across the Nile Valley and the Wahat region in Egypt. Additionally, they incorporated information about primary tools collected from previous missions, now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir. The Oldowan industry, the second oldest known stone industry in the ancient world, has its origins in East Africa, with the oldest sites dating back over 2.5 million years.
